History of Technology

In a dictionary there is more than one definition of technology. One of the definitions says that technology is “a scientific or industrial process, invention, or method”. Another definition says that technology is “the sum of the ways in which social groups provide themselves with the material objects of their civilization. Created in 1938 in Germany and now computers have developed to do a lot of things
The first computer was made between 1940 and 1945. A lot of people use computers to help their jobs, help their young kids (years 3-5) improve skills for school like reading, writing, math, science, and computer/typing. Also people can use the computer to play games, go onto social websites like Facebook and Twitter, read books, get news, watch videos/TV, and research information.

Three Important years

1876, 1936, and 1971 are important years. They are important because they all have helped everyone haveiphones, laptops, and games. In 1876 was when the phone was first invented, in 1936 the first computer was invented and in 1971 the first video game company came out.

Inventions:

• In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone
• In 1936 computers were invented, but computers are still being updated.
• 1889 Nintendo started by selling cards and became a video game company in 1983
• 1976 - 1977 Apple makes their first two computers.
• 1977 The Atari was invented
• 1985 microsoft windows started.

Original companies:

1. In 1877 Alexander Graham Bell Created the first telephone company.
2. The first computer company was IBM. IBM started in 1911
3. Nolan Bushnell created the first videogame company in 1971 with a concole called atari.-

Google is was created by two people, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. In 1995 Sergey Brin showed Larry Page around Stanford because Larry wanted to go to Stanford. In 1996 Larry and Sergey started collaborating on a search engine called BackRub and in 1997 they changed the name to Google. In September 2008 Google Chrome was released. About three years later Google bought "Motorla Mobility" for $12.5 billion and laid off over 300 employees.
